Our Second Day in Beijing

We had another wonderful day!  Our day started with church.  Hmm, interesting!  We then went to a Jade Factory and saw many beautiful pieces of sculpture and jewelry.  Next, we ate lunch at a Chinese Buffet, the best Chinese food we have had yet and did a little shopping at a market downstairs from the restaurant.  Then, the time we had looked forward to~ seeing and climbing the Great Wall of China!  If the steps look steep in the pictures, that's because they are STEEP!!  H.O. said his feet felt like lead toward the end as he lifted each foot.  We had a great time!!

We have always joked with my mom that she looks Asian and today Andrew said I saw a lady that looked like Grandma and H.O. responded I've seen many!!

After the Great Wall we went to an acrobatics show.  It was amazing!  What strong and flexible people.  The boys really liked when five motorcycles all got into a steel ball and rode and did tricks.  There were many breath~taking acts!!

We will be picked up at our hotel at 5:30am for our 7:30 flight to Chongqing, Abby's province.  I can not believe tomorrow at this time we will have Abby!!  It has felt at many times as if this day would never come and now we are only 18 hours away from meeting her!  Please pray for her transition into our family.  We love her and can't wait to share that love with her!
